The Las Vegas Strip is one of the best places to go for
entertainment on the west coast of the United States. Sporting a
wide variety of Las Vegas hotels and casinos, nightclubs,
restaurants and other attractions, you will be able to find a
little bit of something for everyone...
Casinos
Bellagio
In between shows and other activities, you can visit the Casino.
This massive structure, covering 116,000 square feet, lets you
unwind and gamble in a comfortable environment. And of course,
you can stand and gaze at the famous Bellagio fountains.
Caeser's Palace
When looking for elegance, the Caesars Palace Las Vegas is the
place to go. Modeled after ancient Rome, this exquisite Caesars
Palace hotel and casino takes all of the best charms of Rome and
adds a modern flare to add to the level of comfort. Fountains,
statues and other decorations greet you when you enter the
lobby, submersing you into the theme of Caesars Palace Las
Vegas.
Mandalay Bay
Like many other Las Vegas Hotels, the Mandalay Bay has its own
casino. This casino is quite massive, covering 135,000 square
feet of floor space. There are a wide varieties of different
games available, from card games to slot machines. Matching with
the regal nature of the Mandalay Bay, this Casino makes use of
elegant decor coupled with excellent service not matched
anywhere else.
Hard Rock Hotel and
Casino the Hard Rock Las
Vegas also has an enormous casino, with smaller lounges for high
stakes gambling. More than 600 slot machines grace the floor of
the main casino, along with hundreds of gaming tables. For a
quiet night of high stakes gambling, head to the Peacock Lounge,
where leather seats and triple digit tables await the serious
gamblers. The Fender Room is the high stakes room for slot
machine gambling. If you simply want to have a bit of fun and
gamble in the main lounge, you can gamble in the main casino
area.
The Venetian
The Venetian Casino is a massive casino, covering 120,000 square
feet of space. There are a wide variety of different table and
slot machines. With over 2,500 slots, you will be able to find a
machine to play on regardless of how large the crowds are.
Harrahs Casino
The Harrahs Casino is one of the larger casinos you will find in
Las Vegas Hotels. Covering over 80,000 square feet, you can make
the most out of a wide range of different games. If you are
looking to have fun gambling in a lively environment, this is
the place to go.
The Mirage
This casino has a wide variety of different card games, as well
as over 2,000 slot machines available for your use. With a range
of lounges at your disposal, visiting the Casino is a great way
to have a fun evening without having to leave the hotel.
Nightlife
Coyote Ugly
There are a lot of bars and nightclubs in Vegas where you have
to be one of the "beautiful people" to earn a place to sit on a
reserved couch. Coyote Ugly is not one of those places. This is
a drinking joint with a college party atmosphere. Coyote Ugly's
trademark is the sexy female bartenders who get up on the bar
and dance, sing and encourage patrons to drink more alcohol.
Foundation Room
The House of Blues Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay is one of the
most exclusive clubs in Vegas. It is usually a members-only
venue, but on Monday nights, the doors are open to everyone for
a special after-hours party called "Godspeed." Accessible
only by a private elevator, the Foundation Room is located 43
floors up, on the top of the hotel. An outdoor balcony offers
breathtaking views of the Strip and the eastern Las Vegas
valley.
House of Blues at Mandalay Bay
Depending on the night of the week, the venue that hosts some of
the most legendary music acts in the world can also host some of
your guilty pleasures.
Jet at Mirage
“People choose Jet because it appeals to such a wide variety of
audiences,” said Steven Lockwood, marketing director for Jet
Nightclub. “Locals love to come on Monday nights for our great
industry promotions and the fantastic house DJs we have…Tourists
love to come for the amazing energy, music and service or even
for the chance to see a celebrity that frequents our club.”
Moon/Playboy Club
Playboy. The word has conjured up thoughts of beautiful women,
swanky bachelor pads and swinging singles for 54 years. Now, on
the tail of a 20-year Playboy Club drought, that iconic
lifestyle once again leaps off the pages of the famous magazine
and comes to life in the Playboy Club at the Palms Las Vegas.
Privé at Planet Hollywood
The club, located inside Planet Hollywood, is actually an
offering from the folks in South Beach Florida. The Opium Group
– which operates four hopping nightclubs in Miami – chose Sin
City for the first venture outside of Florida, and why wouldn’t
they?
Rain Las Vegas
The pleasures of Rain Las Vegas lie in its contradictions. Like
the hotel-casino that hosts it, the club was built for locals
but encourages out-of-state visitors to leave the Strip and
party down. It is cavernous without feeling impersonal, unique
without being gimmicky and elegant without being pretentious.
Studio 54
A reincarnation of the famed Studio 54 in New York City, which
closed in its original form in 1979, Studio 54 Las Vegas brings
that same glitz and glamour to a place where glitz and glamour
feel right at home – Sin City.
VooDoo Lounge
Waiting in line to start the night at VooDoo Lounge, it might
seem like the party is going on below you. From the frantic
beeping of slot machines to the roving fun of Masquerade Village
that’s taking place just over the railing, it’s an easy mistake
to make. But the great part about VooDoo Lounge is that the
party is actually above you, 51 stories up, in a place not
visible just yet. And any celebration going on around a video
poker machine basically pales in comparison.
Dining
BOA Steakhouse
BOA Steakhouse certainly delivers steak with style. BOA mixes
classic and modern influences throughout the restaurant. Scenic
views of the Strip, driftwood trees, and large vibrant red and
pink light boxes set the mood for your meal.
Chinois
The fertile fields of Wolfgang Puck's
restaurants are known as California-style dining trendsetters,
taking classic European cooking concepts and infusing them with
a light, modern taste. At the striking Chinois in the Forum
Shops, Puck lends the same expert touch to Asian cuisine,
particularly Chinese dishes.
Gallagher's Steakhouse
Peer through the display windows at Gallagher's Steakhouse at
New York-New York to see the racks of prime beef aging. All of
the beef is air aged for 21 days. In the truest tradition of the
genre, Gallagher's specialty is hearty, well-prepared and honest
food, including the crunchiest hash browns in my taste memory
bank. This carnivore's Utopia serves thick, succulent steaks and
chops, fish and seafood and more.
Trattoria del Lupo
With his Trattoria del Lupo, famed culinary visionary Wolfgang
Puck has infused Mandalay Bay with classic Italian gourmet
cuisine. Housed in an attractive and welcoming space – think
light pastel Baroque-era inspired walls, warm golden globe
hanging lamps and airy patio seating – Lupo unites the finest of
imported Italian items with the freshest domestic foods.
Pampas Brazilian Grille
Meat, on a sword, at your table...Pampas Brazilian Grille inside
the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is not your average
restaurant in a mall. Pampas serves up something different, not
just in the food, but in how they serve it.
Postrio
Central to St. Mark's is Wolfgang Puck's Postrio with its
spacious patio café for casual dining and an upscale dining
room. This is the second Postrio for Puck. Postrio San Francisco
opened in April 1989; Postrio Las Vegas opened in December 1999.
Spago
Modern Las Vegas culinary history started right here at Spago,
which opened in the Forum Shops in 1992 and ushered in the
celebrity chef and fine dining era in this shimmering city.
Spago's cuisine is based on the finest, freshest produce and
prime cuts of meat. It is also created with an artistic flair
that complements the dining room's hyper-modern, elegant design.
The Tillerman
The Tillerman has been a classic, upscale Las Vegas eatery for
nearly 30 years –- it's a place near and dear to the heart of
many locals and vacationers alike. And now this elegant yet
comfortable establishment has been rejuvenated with new
ownership.
